Fun Hands-on Activities Help Participants Learn about Plastic Consumption
The Plastic Games was a pilot engagement program put on by LabX during May 2020. The Games sought to expand remote programming opportunities by engaging with participants outside of a traditional webinar format. The Games featured a series of weekly challenges designed to help participants learn more about their plastic consumption. Need a fun educational activity for your group? Contact rthomas@nas.edu

Each weekly challenge invited participants to creatively re-use or repurpose common plastic products through fun and hands-on activities that could be completed at home.
Participants would then share
their submissions on social media.

At the end of each week the best submissions would win cash prizes.
LabX created educational and entertaining resources related to the competition each week to help raise awareness of the issues around plastic consumption.
