A narrative table-top roleplaying game
Step into the halls of Promethean Academy, a boarding school unlike any other, nestled on the remote Heartwood Island at the edge of the ordinary world. As a student, you’ll uncover the secrets of the Elsewhere, a hidden realm of wonder and peril, where nature breathes with magic and ancient beings called the Rooted walk among the trees.
But at Promethean Academy, your place is never guaranteed. Your first year is a test. Prove yourself, and you may join the ranks of those who guard the balance between worlds. Fail, and you’ll be sent away—forever.
Gameplay
Bloomfall is an interactive storytelling game that blends tabletop roleplaying, immersive narrative, and real-world exploration. Players take on the roles of young protagonists—first-year students from diverse backgrounds—each seeking a place to belong.

Inspiration & Design
The idea of centering a game around combating plant blindness was inspired by a conversation between NAS Member Sue Wessler, the LabX Team (Ann Merchant, Keri Stoever, Joshua Gleason, Nawar Nemeh), and Sharang Biswas with input from Ari Novy. Game Design and Writing is being conducted by Sharang Biswas, Yeonsoo Julian Kim, and Joshua Gleason.
